ExitEdge is a deal platform for M&A and business brokers, operated by Mach A.I., LLC ("Mach-AI," "we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you visit our website and use our services.
2. Information We Collect
Information you give us. This includes:
- Contact information, such as your name, email address, phone number, and firm name
- Account credentials
- Professional information, such as your experience, certifications, and the types of deals you work on
- Information you share when you request early access, book a discovery call, or contact us
Deal information you upload. To prepare listing intake reports, valuations, Confidential Information Memoranda (CIMs), and buyer presentations, you may upload information about your clients' businesses, such as financial statements, tax returns, customer and vendor data, and seller interview recordings or transcripts. We treat this as your confidential data and handle it as described in Section 5 and in our Terms of Service.
Information from public sources. To help brokers find businesses that may be preparing to sell, we compile information about businesses from public records and other publicly available or licensed sources. This can include business names, locations, industries, filings, licenses, and the names and public roles of owners and executives.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we and our analytics provider (Google Analytics) collect standard usage information, such as pages viewed, browser type, device type, and approximate location based on IP address, using cookies and similar technologies.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve our services
- Generate the reports, valuations, CIMs, and other materials you request
- Identify and score potential exit candidates for our customers
- Process transactions and send related information
- Send technical notices, updates, and security alerts
- Respond to your comments and questions
- Communicate with you about products, services, and events
4. Data Protection
We use a variety of security measures to protect your information. Your information is kept behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of people who have special access rights to those systems and are required to keep it confidential.
5. Deal Documents and AI Processing
Deal information you upload belongs to you. We use it only to provide the services you request. We may use trusted service providers, including artificial intelligence providers, to process it on our behalf. We take reasonable steps to remove personally identifiable information before that processing, and we do not use your deal information, or allow our providers to use it, to train artificial intelligence models. We never share your deal information with other ExitEdge customers or with buyers. When you close your account, we delete your deal information as described in our Terms of Service.
6. Third-Party Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties unless we give you advance notice. This does not include hosting partners and other service providers who help us operate our website and services and who agree to keep the information confidential, or disclosures required by law.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. If you are a business owner or executive and would like us to review or remove information about you that we compiled from public sources, you can ask us to do so. To make any of these requests, contact us at support@mach-ai.com. Depending on where you live, such as California, you may have additional rights under local privacy laws, and we will honor them as required.
